The Living Stations of the Cross

What do "the servants" do ?

The “Servants of the Cross” is a Catholic family ministry composed of youth and adults which serves the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota area.

The “Servants have been involved in many service opportunities including: Feed My Starving Children; food drive for area food shelves; coat, hat, and mitten drive for Joseph's Coat, God's closet, and the Alley shop, caroling and cookies for the less fortunate; summer retreats for youth; adult retreats; and on-going faith exploration for youth and adults.

Each lent, this group portrays THE LIVING STATIONS OF THE CROSS on Good Friday at local churches.

The “Servants” have evolved over the years since the first time The Living Stations of the Cross was presented with a handful of teens in 1998. Now the cast for The Living Stations is 50 strong with ages ranging from 6 to 23. In fact, we now have second generation servants!

The Living Stations of the Cross, for us, is a prayer, not a performance. Each lent is a journey that our group takes together, one that is very personal to each individual.
